On June 22, the 2018 National Scenic Area Information and Publicity Work Conference was held at the Huating Lake Scenic Area in Anhui Province. Leaders including Guo Pengwei, Vice President of the China Scenic Areas Association, and Liu Qiang, Deputy Secretary-General of the Association, along with over 200 representatives from more than 100 member units nationwide attended the conference. The Jingpohu Lake Scenic Area was invited to participate in this grand event.

Conference venue

The meeting discussed and exchanged views on various tasks, including the WeChat public platform for scenic areas, the establishment of a WeChat public account alliance for information, the appointment of information liaisons, and the creation of an information exchange platform. Representatives from scenic spots such as Huating Lake, Nanjing Zhongshan Mountain, Xishuangbanna Tropical Botanical Garden, and Yuntai Mountain shared their experiences in information promotion and publicity. Additionally, the conference introduced the 2018 China Scenic Spots Micro Video (Micro Film) Competition, and the association’s secretariat reported on the WeChat public platform and editorial department’s work. Through this information annual meeting, Jingpohu Lake Scenic Area engaged in exchanges and learning with other scenic areas, expanding its information promotion channels and gaining valuable insights and inspiration.
