On July 8th, Municipal Party Committee Secretary Yang Tingshuang conducted an on-site inspection at Jingpohu Lake Scenic Area to assess the progress in pollution outlet management, scenic area development, park construction, key project implementation, and enterprise operations. Yang Tingshuang stressed that Jingpohu Lake is a world-class tourism resource and a precious asset of Mudanjiang, which must be protected and utilized with utmost care and dedication. Accompanied by Deputy Party Secretary and Director Li Dongjun, Party Committee Member and Deputy Director Lu Jun, among others, he carried out the inspection.

Yang Tingshuang inspected the progress of the investigation and rectification of pollution outlets entering Jingpohu, visiting six such outlets to assess the treatment efforts. He emphasized the need to thoroughly implement Xi Jinping's ecological civilization thought, actively practice the "Two Mountains" theory, adhere to the concepts of green and safe development, and resolutely shoulder the major political responsibility of safeguarding national ecological security. He called for prioritizing ecological benefits, ecological convenience, and ecological welfare for the people, balancing development and safety, and promoting green, safe, and high-quality development in Mudanjiang.

After inspecting the remediation of the villa's sewage treatment station at the villa dock, Yang Tingshuang conducted an on-site survey of the water level at Jingpohu. He discussed with relevant personnel the recent rise in the lake's water level and flood prevention preparations, emphasizing the need for the Jingpohu Lake Management Committee and related departments to resolutely implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's important directives on disaster prevention, mitigation, and relief. He stressed prioritizing people's safety and lives above all else, reinforcing bottom-line thinking and risk awareness. Given the rapid increase in the lake's water level, he called for enhanced inter-provincial coordination and communication, rigorous and practical monitoring, early warning systems, and evacuation measures to ensure the lake's stability and safe flood passage, effectively safeguarding tourist safety.

At the Jingpohu Lake Tourist Service Center, Yang Tingshuang conducted research on the recent daily visitor numbers and the origins of tourists at Jingpohu. He visited the sales area to investigate product sales and the construction of facilities, instructing staff to continue improving the infrastructure to provide visitors with a beautiful environment and high-quality services.
