The scenic area spans a total planned area of 1,726 square kilometers and consists of three main sections: the Hundred-Mile Long Lake Scenic Area, the Volcanic Crater Primeval Forest Scenic Area, and the Ruins of Shangjing Longquanfu of the Bohai Kingdom Scenic Area. The area is renowned for its stunning lake and mountain scenery, complemented by geological wonders such as underground primeval forests in volcanic craters and underground lava tunnels, as well as historical and cultural sites like the ruins of the Tang Dynasty-era Bohai Kingdom.
