The 2024 National Day holiday is approaching, and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism reminds all tourists:
1. Make thorough preparations before the trip.Plan your travel itinerary and schedule wisely, and choose travel agencies with proper business licenses. Pay attention to travel alerts issued by departments such as tourism, public security, transportation, meteorology, and foreign affairs. Exercise caution when traveling to destinations with poor transportation, weather conditions, or security situations, and avoid undeveloped or unsecured areas. Acquire essential safety knowledge and first-aid skills, and prepare necessary common medications.
2. Pay attention to fire safety. When visiting scenic spots, public cultural venues, cultural relics protection units, and other places, strictly comply with fire safety and various safety management regulations. When staying in hotels, proactively familiarize yourself with emergency evacuation routes and avoid smoking while lying on sofas or beds. During outdoor activities, pay attention to fire prevention and disaster avoidance—do not carry fire sources into mountains, and refrain from smoking, barbecuing, or using open flames in areas with dense vegetation, accumulated leaves, or other flammable materials, or where fire prevention warnings are posted.
3. Enhance safety awareness.During your travels, pay attention to safety warnings, risk alerts, visitor guidelines, and other relevant information to enhance personal safety precautions. When traveling by private vehicle or public transportation, always fasten your seatbelt and refrain from carrying prohibited items. When boarding sightseeing boats, wear a life jacket as required and avoid vessels lacking essential lifesaving equipment. Before embarking on a self-drive trip, ensure your vehicle is in good condition. During the journey, obey traffic rules, maintain appropriate speed, practice courtesy, and strictly avoid fatigued or drunk driving.
4. Exercise caution when participating in high-risk projects. Before participating in high-risk activities such as skydiving, high-speed sports, water sports, diving, or adventure projects, carefully read the relevant guidelines and assess your personal ability based on age and health condition. Strictly follow safety protocols during the activity, obey staff instructions, and refrain from any actions that may endanger yourself or others.
5. Travel in a civilized and low-carbon manner.Comply with laws, regulations, and social ethics. Follow venue guidelines for visits and tours, protect the ecological environment, cherish cultural relics and historic sites, and take good care of public facilities. Respect the rights of others and resolve disputes rationally. Consciously practice the "Clean Plate Campaign" by promoting environmental conservation, saving resources, and adopting green travel practices.
