On November 13, 2025, a nine-member research team consisting of representatives from the Heilongjiang Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, the Provincial Development and Reform Commission, and Heilongjiang Sports University conducted a special survey on the ice and snow tourism economy in the Jingpohu Lake Scenic Area. Staff from the Tourism Bureau of the Jingpohu Lake Scenic Spot Nature Reserve Management Committee accompanied the research team throughout the survey.

The research team focused on the high-quality development of ice and snow tourism economy, visiting core attractions such as the Diaoshuilou Waterfall to inspect the planning of ice waterfall landscapes, snow sports facility layouts, and folk experience projects on-site. Staff from the tourism bureau reported to the team on the scenic area's ice and snow tourism development plans, innovative business achievements, and operational safeguards. In line with the province's ice and snow economy revitalization plan, the team provided targeted recommendations for the scenic area's development, emphasizing the need to strengthen the integration of "ice and snow + technology" by leveraging smart management systems to optimize visitor flow scheduling; deepen the synergy of "ice and snow + sports" by utilizing the professional resources of the provincial sports academy to cultivate mass ice and snow event IPs; and enhance "north-south collaboration" by precisely catering to the demands of southern tourist markets and improving service refinement.

This research has charted the course for the scenic area's ice and snow tourism development. The tourism bureau will seize this opportunity to systematically integrate and adopt the research recommendations, closely aligning with the goal of "300 million people participating in ice and snow sports." Efforts will be made to continuously optimize product offerings, enhance service quality, and fully develop a distinctive and high-quality ice and snow tourism destination, contributing Jingpohu's strength to the high-quality development of Heilongjiang's ice and snow economy.
