





The exhibition hall is located in the public service area of Building B at the Jingpohu Lake Tourist Service Center, covering an area of 580 square meters. It showcases 234 ancient musical instruments and related artifacts discovered in the Mudanjiang region, particularly in the Jingpohu Lake basin. Among the collection, rare and precious ancient instruments such as 3,500-year-old eagle bone flutes, jade flutes, and Han Dynasty bronze drums stand out. The exhibition traces the origin and evolution of the ancient musical five tones, eight sounds, and twelve temperaments, while recounting the historical narrative of music transitioning from royal courts to the folk realm, fostering ethnic integration. Strolling through the long river of ancient instrument development, you will immerse yourself in Jingpohu’s millennia of cultural heritage, marveling at the ingenuity of China’s ancestors and the splendor of Chinese civilization.
