





Recently, Jingpohu Lake Scenic and Historical Interest Area has achieved fruitful results in foreign exchanges and cooperation, signing friendly sister agreements with Zijin Cave World Geopark and Xingyi Global Geopark in Guizhou Province, and Zhaoqing Xinghu Scenic and Historical Interest Area in Guangdong Province, establishing a bridge of collaboration and communication across regions.
From December 11th to 13th, Comrade Li Dongjun, the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Nature Reserve Management Committee of Jingpohu Lake Scenic Area, led the inspection team to Guizhou Province for research and exchange. The inspection team members included Li Xijun, Deputy Director of the Jingpohu Lake Management Committee, Ding Jianguo, Director of the Jingpohu Lake Tourist Service Center, and Yu Hao, Director of the Jingpohu Lake Gate Service Center.
On December 11th, the inspection team arrived in Guiyang City to carry out preliminary research. The next day, they went to Zijin County, Bijie City, focusing on the inspection of the Zijin Cave World Geopark. Accompanied by local staff, the inspection team first visited the Zijin Cave World Geopark Museum, systematically understanding its geological evolution history, karst landform characteristics and scientific value. Subsequently, they conducted an on-site inspection of the core scenic area of Zijin Cave, gaining an in-depth understanding of its magnificent cave system, rich forms of karst sediments, scientific protection and management measures and operation mode. After the inspection, the Wudalianchi World Geopark and the Zijin Cave World Geopark Administration successfully signed an agreement to establish friendly sister parks.

On the 13th, the inspection team moved to Qiannan Prefecture and visited the Xingyi Asian Dragon World Geopark, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the park's geological heritage and natural cultural resources system. Subsequently, they conducted on-site investigations of the Wannonglin scenic area, represented by the magnificent conical karst peaks, and the Ma'linghe Gorge, renowned for its fault-like valleys and waterfall clusters, learning in detail about their experiences and practices in ecological protection, science education, community participation, and sustainable tourism development. Based on the in-depth inspection and exchanges, the Jingpohu Lake World Geopark and the Xingyi Global Geopark were officially designated as friendly sister parks.


On the 14th, the inspection team went south to Zhaoqing City, Guangdong Province, to attend the 2025 China Scenic and Historical Interest Association Rivers and Lakes Professional Committee Work Conference held on the 15th. During the meeting, Director Li Dongjun signed a framework agreement for strategic cooperation on behalf of the Jingpohu Lake Scenic and Historical Interest Area with the Zhaoqing Xinghu Scenic and Historical Interest Area Administration, laying a solid foundation for in-depth cooperation between the two sides.

In the afternoon of the 15th, the inspection team participated in the large-scale series of full-media interview programs "Beautiful China Everyone Talks About" (Rivers and Lakes Edition), sponsored by the China Association of Scenic Spots. Director Li Dongjun focused on sharing the successful experience of Jingpohu Lake in the management of water ecological environment during the interview, detailing how the implementation of zoning management, promoting source pollution control, and systematically carrying out ecological restoration and other measures have made the lake's water quality stable and improve from Class IV to Class III, and significantly enhanced the governance path and effectiveness of aquatic biodiversity. He also mentioned that the Jingpohu Lake scenic area has successfully been selected as one of the first "Beautiful Rivers and Lakes" cases in Heilongjiang Province, and its governance experience has received widespread attention and recognition in the industry.
On the 16th, the inspection team conducted a full-day field inspection of the Zhaoqing Xinghu Scenic and Historical Interest Area, visiting in turn Dinghu Mountain, renowned for its forest ecology and Buddhist culture, and the Qixingyan scenic area, famous for its intermingled lakes and rocks and picturesque scenery. The team comprehensively understood the advanced practices of Xinghu in terms of landscape protection, cultural heritage, cultural and tourism integration, and smart scenic area construction. After the inspection, the Jingpohu Lake Scenic and Historical Interest Area and the Zhaoqing Xinghu Scenic and Historical Interest Area Administration held a formal signing ceremony, and both parties solemnly announced the establishment of a "sister lake" relationship, promising to carry out in-depth cooperation in many fields such as resource protection, management experience exchange, market interaction, personnel training, and brand co-construction in the future.
This series of inspections and signing activities marks a solid step for the Jingpohu Lake Scenic Area in the aspect of foreign exchange and cooperation. By establishing friendly sister relations, Jingpohu Lake will join hands with various well-known scenic spots to explore high-quality development paths for nature reserves, promote the sharing and complementarity of high-quality resources, and inject new vitality into improving the management level of scenic spots, promoting the construction of ecological civilization, and the coordinated development of cultural and tourism industries.
