Currently, Jingpohu UNESCO Global Geopark is at a critical juncture preparing for the 2026 re-evaluation and in the crucial tackling stage phase of project construction. On the morning of March 4th, Li Dongjun, Deputy Secretary of the Party Working Committee and Director of Jingpohu Lake Administrative Committee, led a team to conduct an on-site inspection of the exhibition project at Jingpohu Lake UNESCO Global Geopark Museum to assess the progress. Deputy Director Li Xijun, along with colleagues from the Planning and Construction Bureau and the Office, accompanied the inspection.

Comrade Li Dongjun focused on listening to reports about the construction of the museum's iconic entrance, the setup of fire exits inside the museum, and the integration of indoor and outdoor spaces. He gained a detailed understanding of the construction progress, implementation of details, and quality control measures. He also issued clear directives regarding the arrangement of functional areas inside the museum, the design of the iconic entrance, the configuration of fire exits, the seamless connection between indoor and outdoor spaces, and the construction timeline.
Comrade Li Dongjun emphasized the need to elevate our stance and take the re-evaluation of the global geopark as an opportunity to further strengthen responsibilities. We must meticulously plan the construction timeline according to standards and deadlines, work with clear targets, and ensure the construction site operates safely and efficiently. This will guarantee the timely completion of the Jingpohu Global Geopark Museum exhibition project, laying a solid foundation for successfully passing the global geopark re-evaluation.
