





On the morning of May 10, Yang Yong, Deputy Secretary of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor, conducted research and supervision on the implementation of rectification measures for issues raised by the central ecological and environmental protection inspection at the Jingpo Lake scenic area.
At the Jingpo Lake Sanatorium of the Provincial Electric Power Company, Yang Yong inspected the generation and temporary storage of domestic sewage, carefully examined the operation of sewage treatment facilities, listened to a report from the Jingpo Lake Management Committee on the effectiveness of sealing and rectifying sewage outfalls, and reviewed the entire process of sewage collection, treatment, and utilization in detail. He emphasized the need to strictly adhere to the rectification requirements of the central ecological and environmental protection inspection, deepen the inspection and verification of sealing and rectifying 52 sewage outfalls, standardize disposal processes based on treatment technologies, and precisely advance subsequent rectification and improvement efforts. He also called for a comprehensive assessment of the economic, technical, and ecological aspects of sewage treatment in the Jingpo Lake basin, continuously optimizing the integrated sewage treatment and utilization model while balancing effectiveness, operational costs, and ecological benefits.
At the sewage station of the Provincial Trade Union Sanatorium, Yang Yong inspected the sealing and rectification of sewage outfalls and inquired in detail about the sewage treatment process and operational costs. He demanded continuous optimization of sewage treatment processes, strengthened control over the disposal and comprehensive utilization of treated effluent to ensure compliance with standards. He stressed the importance of resolutely upholding the political responsibility of ecological protection, ensuring effective regional environmental governance and long-term supervision to safeguard Jingpo Lake as a beautiful ecological landmark of Mudanjiang.
At the centralized domestic sewage treatment station in the mountain villa area, Yang Yong inspected the facility’s operation and learned about the resource utilization of treated effluent. He emphasized the need to ensure stable compliance of treated effluent with the "Urban Sewage Recycling—Urban Miscellaneous Water Quality" standards, actively expand the utilization channels for recycled water resources, and enhance the efficiency of comprehensive water resource utilization. By improving pollution control and promoting water conservation and intensive use, the ecological security of Jingpo Lake can be firmly upheld.
