On June 18, the Jingpo Lake Management Committee held a promotional event for Jingpo Lake UNESCO Global Geopark at the North Gate complex of the lake area, conducting geological science education and ecological conservation awareness campaigns for visitors to highlight the unique value of the global geopark and deepen public understanding.

Staff members systematically introduced the typical geological relics, ecological conservation priorities, and protection principles of the Jingpo Lake UNESCO Global Geopark to visitors by distributing promotional materials such as brochures and science leaflets, combined with face-to-face explanations and interactive Q&A sessions. From volcanic geological wonders to the formation of barrier lakes, and from geological relic preservation to green tourism initiatives, the accessible explanations helped visitors understand geology and fall in love with nature during their tour.

Jingpo Lake, as a UNESCO Global Geopark, boasts complete volcanic geological relics, rare alpine barrier lake landscapes, and rich ecological and cultural resources, serving as a vital window for showcasing Earth's evolution and conducting natural education.
This event has further enhanced public awareness of geoheritage conservation, guiding tourists to visit responsibly and protect the lake scientifically, jointly safeguarding this world-class geological treasure.
