This competition is hosted by the Mudanjiang Sports Bureau and organized by the Mudanjiang Jingpohu Lake Tourism Group. The competition attracted teams from renowned dojos across various provinces and cities in China,17with the youngest participant being only3and a half years old, while the oldest...28years old, as well as competitors from the UK and20152018 National Poomsae Championship - Adult Team Champion,20152018 National Mass Games - Individual Poomsae Champion,20162018 National Mass Games Finals - Taekwondo Dance Champion,20172018 Korea World Martial Arts FestivalHANMADANGOutstanding teams and athletes such as the individual poomsae bronze medalist participated, with invitations extended to3a nationally certified first-class Taekwondo referee and one from the three northeastern provinces of China18professional referees were appointed to officiate the matches.

Taekwondo, a martial art rooted in the spirit of beginning and ending with courtesy, embodies and promotes traditional Chinese virtues such as etiquette, perseverance, self-discipline, and indomitable will. With concise yet swift and agile movements, along with powerful and precise kicking techniques, athletes fully demonstrate the martial ethos of Taekwondo and the tenacious fighting spirit, earning its reputation as the world’s premier combat sport dominating the global martial arts arena.

The competition featured three categories: sparring, poomsae, and Taekwondo dance. After two days of intense matches, Qingwei Martial Arts Academy, Chaoyuan Martial Arts Academy, and Hanlin International Taekwondo teams secured the top three positions in overall team rankings.

Additional awards included Outstanding Referee, Outstanding Coach, Best Technique, and Sportsmanship honors. Top-performing athletes from this event will represent Heilongjiang Province in national-level Taekwondo competitions.

According to the organizers, this is the first time such a competition has been held in a tourist attraction. Participants not only compete and showcase their skills during the event but also have the opportunity to enjoy the autumn scenery of Jingpohu Lake Scenic Area, sharing the boundless joy of sports+and tourism.
