From the 29th to the 30th, the China Scenic Area Sustainable Development Forum and the "Culture-Tourism-Sports" Integrated Development Exchange Conference, hosted by the China Scenic Areas Association and organized by the Jingpohu Lake Scenic Area Management Committee and Mudanjiang State-owned Investment Co., Ltd., was held in the Jingpohu Lake Scenic Area of Mudanjiang. Over 150 participants, including heads of scenic area authorities from across the country, industry and academic experts, as well as representatives from associations, governing units, and enterprises, discussed topics such as how to build new models and formats for the integrated development of "culture-tourism-sports" in scenic areas, aligning with the new demands of cultural, sports, and tourism consumption.

Gao Zhongyuan, Vice Mayor of Mudanjiang City, introduced the long history, rich culture, and abundant tourism resources of Mudanjiang to the attendees and sincerely invited guests from all over to visit the city. In his speech, Gao Zhongyuan emphasized that scenic areas, as important carriers of cultural and tourism development, play an increasingly vital role in driving new growth in the national economy, promoting the new development of cultural-tourism integration, and advancing the new elevation of tourism economy and services. Mudanjiang will take this opportunity to learn from the best practices of scenic areas nationwide, further promoting the innovative integration of culture, sports, and tourism in Jingpohu Lake and exploring new paths and making new contributions to the high-quality development of scenic areas.

Li Dongjun, Director of the Jingpohu Lake Scenic Area Management Committee in Heilongjiang Province, stated that Jingpohu Lake is one of the first 44 national key scenic areas, a UNESCO Global Geopark, and a national 5A-level tourist attraction. It serves as a flagship scenic area and an important destination for tourism development in Heilongjiang. Over the years, Jingpohu Lake has consistently achieved fruitful results in the innovative integration of "culture-tourism-sports." In 2022, it was approved by the General Administration of Sport of China and the Ministry of Culture and Tourism as a "National Sports Tourism Demonstration Base," becoming the only one in Heilongjiang and one of only 14 such scenic areas nationwide. The standards for the "Jingpohu Lake Ice Marathon," initiated and hosted by Jingpohu, were adopted by Heilongjiang Province as the industry standard for winter ice marathons. The achievements of Jingpohu Lake in "culture-tourism-sports" integration reflect both the innovative exploration and accelerated development of the national scenic area industry and mark a new starting point for Jingpohu Lake to seize opportunities in the new era and achieve leapfrog development. The convening of this China Scenic Area Sustainable Development Forum has provided a platform for scenic areas across the country to enhance friendships, strengthen communication, and foster cooperation.
