On October 22, the 2023 U-Series China Youth Roller Skating Tour (Jingpohu Lake Station) was held at the Jingpohu Lake National Scenic Area. Following the 2023 China Roller Skating Marathon Open (Jingpohu Lake Station) on September 10, this event marked another competition specifically organized for young roller skating enthusiasts at the Jingpohu Lake scenic area.

In the late autumn by Jingpohu, the scenery was vibrant with colors, and the water was clear beneath a blue sky. At 8:00 a.m., over 200 young roller skaters from across the nation engaged in fierce competition during the speed roller skating time trials held at the Jingpohu Lake Sports and Culture Center.

Li Dongjun, Director of the Jingpohu Lake Management Committee in Heilongjiang Province, delivered a speech for the competition. He introduced that Jingpohu Lake boasts abundant natural resources and profound cultural heritage, making it a comprehensive tourist destination integrating nature, history, culture, and folk traditions. The hosting of this Jingpohu Lake Roller Skating Tour serves as both a review of the physical fitness and spirit of young roller skating enthusiasts and a test of their overall qualities, including physical condition, competitive skills, and mental resilience. It is hoped that this event will further promote the popularity of youth roller skating in China and facilitate cultural exchanges within the sport. Additionally, it aims to advance the development of public fitness in our city, enrich the cultural life of its residents, and inspire the spirit of sportsmanship to drive progress in our work and daily lives, thereby contributing to the city's economic growth and gathering momentum for the comprehensive revitalization of Mudanjiang.

Since successfully obtaining the title of "National Sports Tourism Demonstration Base" in 2022, Jingpohu Lake Scenic Area has successively hosted a series of sporting events, including the "2023 China Jingpohu Lake Half Marathon, Run for Youth Fitness Campaign, and Youth Motorboat Training Camp," the "Opening Ceremony of the Fourth Heilongjiang Provincial Mass Fitness Games and Competitions in Basketball, Soft Volleyball, Go, Chinese Chess, and International Chess," and the "2023 China Roller Skating Marathon Open (Jingpohu Lake Station) and Jingpohu Lake Mass Roller Skating Festival." It has become the demonstration base organizing the highest number of sporting events nationwide. The upcoming 2023 U-Series China Youth Roller Skating Tour (Jingpohu Lake Station) is another national-level sports event jointly organized by the Social Sports Guidance Center of the General Administration of Sport of China, with guidance from the Chinese Roller Skating Association and the Heilongjiang Provincial Sports Bureau, and co-hosted by the Jingpohu Lake Management Committee of Heilongjiang Province and the Mudanjiang Municipal Sports Bureau. The main competitions include timed speed roller skating races ranging from 200 to 1000 meters for male and female participants across various age groups.
