On April 3, the Jingpo Lake Administrative Committee organized Party members and cadres to carry out the "2024 Qingming Tribute to Heroes" activity at the Martyrs' Monument for the War of Resistance Against Japan and the Patriotic Self-Defense War in Beishan Park, inspiring all Party members to continue the red legacy by paying homage to heroes and strengthening their determination to move forward while reflecting on the past.

This Party-themed day event was organized by the Political Department and the Party Committee of the Administrative Office, with the approval of the Party Working Committee of the Jingpo Lake Management Committee, and involved grassroots Party organizations, trade unions, and the Youth League. It aimed to enhance the cohesion and centripetal force of the Party and mass organizations. Sixty-seven Party members, officials, and staff from the Jingpo Lake Management Committee paid tribute to the heroic deeds of the martyrs with reverence, learned from their revolutionary spirit, and expressed their condolences to honor their memory. Comrade Qu Dan, the full-time deputy secretary of the Party Committee of the Administrative Office, delivered a speech during the event and led Party members in renewing their vows before the monument. This deeply reinforced the sense of responsibility, mission, and honor among all Party members and officials, strengthening their resolve and determination to strive for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. The Jingpo Lake Youth League issued an initiative to promote traditional Chinese culture, advance the reform of outdated customs, foster civilized practices, and encourage staff to commemorate their ancestors in a safe, civilized, harmonious, and orderly environment.

Honor the past and stay true to the original aspiration. The best way to commemorate the martyrs is to carry forward their spirit and draw strength from it. The Party members and cadres of the Jingpo Lake Administrative Committee will follow the example of revolutionary predecessors, strive diligently in their respective posts, work proactively, seize opportunities, and demonstrate responsibility and pragmatism, upholding the vanguard nature of Communist Party members. Through concrete actions, they will advance the high-quality development of Jingpo Lake Scenic Area and contribute "Jingpo strength" to Mudanjiang’s "Cultural and Tourism Prosperity Strategy"!
