China News Service, Mudanjiang, July 1 (Reporter Jiang Hui) The 2023 Jingpo Lake Volcanic Wetland Half Marathon was held on June 30 at the Jingpo Lake scenic area in Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province. Over 1,000 marathon enthusiasts from across the country competed while enjoying the picturesque beauty of Jingpo Lake.

The event was organized by the Mudanjiang Municipal People's Government and co-hosted by the Jingpo Lake Management Committee of Heilongjiang Province and the Mudanjiang Sports Bureau. The competition included men's and women's half marathon, as well as men's and women's mini marathon (5 km). After more than two hours of intense competition, Gao Peng won the men's mini marathon championship, Li Rongkai secured the men's mini marathon second place, and Yan Xiangfu claimed the men's mini marathon third place. Fan Yayun earned the women's mini marathon championship, Zhu Jiayi took the women's mini marathon second place, and Zhang Yahua finished third in the women's mini marathon. Ma Zhaojian won the men's half marathon championship, Wang Zhe achieved the men's half marathon second place, and Zhu Keke ranked third in the men's half marathon. Wu Guoying clinched the women's half marathon championship, Liu Runyan secured the women's half marathon second place, and Huang Xiaoli claimed the women's half marathon third place.

At the closing ceremony, representatives from the Jingpo Lake Management Committee of Heilongjiang Province, the Mudanjiang Forest Fire Brigade, and Route Elite (Shanghai) Sports Management Co., Ltd. presented bonuses, trophies, and awards to the winning athletes. (END)
