"The auspicious hour has arrived, open the city gates!" On December 23, as the deep and distant morning bell of good fortune echoed over the Jingpohu Lake scenic area in Mudanjiang, the "Wind and Snow Ningguta" themed zone of the "Jingpohu Lake · Bohai Snow Kingdom Winter Fishing Season" project was officially completed and launched.

That day, the "Snowstorm Ningguta" themed area was bustling with crowds. As the city gate slowly opened, historical figures dressed in ancient costumes made their entrance one after another, bringing to life a centuries-old legendary tale. The launch ceremony of the Jingpohu Lake Winter Tourism Snowstorm Ningguta project adopted a blend of ancient and modern elements, featuring not only dialogues between modern hosts and historical figures but also immersive performances that traversed history, creating a rich cultural atmosphere. Segments such as reporting the city's defense status and introducing urban regulations were presented in sequence, with performers greeting visitors from across the country with the most sincere etiquette.

Stepping into the reconstructed Ninguta Ancient City, the production and living areas, historical and cultural zones, and political-military districts collectively recreate the life of Qing Dynasty exiles in Ninguta. It showcases their positive contributions in promoting frontier prosperity through education, culture, farming, commerce, and ethnic integration, presenting a vivid picture of how this once-remote border stronghold transformed into today's "land of fish and rice."

To enrich the tourism performance industry, the Mudanjiang Jingpohu Lake Tourism Group has launched the outdoor live-action performance "Wind and Snow Ningguta," combining winter ice and snow tourism with regional characteristics. This allows visitors to immerse themselves in the cultural essence of Ningguta's exiled literati. Additionally, the project links the "Wind and Snow Ningguta" performance with the classic TV series *Empresses in the Palace*, featuring ice play performances at the Diaoshuilou Waterfall. This not only provides entertainment but also meets visitors' needs for photo opportunities and social media sharing.

"I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at Jingpohu. Not only did I see the spectacular ice waterfall, but I also experienced the profound historical culture of Mudanjiang at Ningguta Ancient City. It was truly a rewarding trip," said Ms. Yan, a tourist from Yunnan.

It is reported that this winter, the Jingpohu Lake Scenic Area in Mudanjiang has deeply explored local culture and innovatively planned the "Jingpohu Lake · Bohai Snow Country Winter Fishing Season" project, featuring four themed areas: "Asian Winter Games Style, Snowy Ningguta, Bohai Snow Country, and Millennium Grand Winter Fishing." Currently, the construction of the "Asian Winter Games Style, Bohai Snow Country, and Millennium Grand Winter Fishing" themed areas is progressing in an orderly manner and will soon be unveiled, allowing more tourists to experience the unique charm of the integration of culture and tourism.
