City Wall Lazi, also known as Huzhou City, City Wall Lazi Mountain City. Located in the middle of Zhonghu Lake. It is composed of three large peaks arranged in a ladder. The highest peak is 524 meters above sea level and faces the lake on three sides. According to historical records, more than 1,300 years ago, during the Bohai Kingdom period, an ancient city was built on this mountain to prevent the Khitans from invading. The ruins now remain, namely the Huzhou City Ruins. During the Anti-Japanese War, the city wall area was also one of the important bases for the Anti-Japanese Alliance. On October 7, 2019, the State Council approved the announcement that the Lazi Mountain City Site (formerly City Wall Lazi Mountain City) and the Laohei Mountain City Site (Chongchun River City Site) were merged into the Mudanjiang Border Wall, the sixth batch of national key cultural relics protection units. Around the city wall, there are many natural landscapes, such as the spectacular Hanging Tiger Peak, the three apes competing for supremacy, the majestic Nine Dragons Playing with Pearls, the long-famous Jieguan Hall, etc., which are breathtaking. In particular, the magical and confusing "Oriental Pure Glaze World" and the world cultural heritage jingpo Lake side wall are natural and strong in ancient style, adding to the splendid scenery of "one city with mountains and half city with lake" to jingpo Lake Scenic Area.
