Jingpohu Lake Stone Waterfall Park is a newly built tourist attraction in 2024 by the Jingpohu Lake Management Committee, located south of Zhonghuan Road in Jingpohu Lake Town and north of the Mudan River, covering an area of approximately 150,000 square meters. It serves as a key geoscience education and research site within the Jingpohu Lake Global Geopark, as well as the starting point for sightseeing along the U-shaped landscape corridor of Jingpohu Lake Grand Canyon.
The park features "ten zones, one factory, and one base." The "ten zones" are the Lava Platform Science Popularization Zone, Geological Study Camping Zone, Dreamlike Stone Sea Sightseeing Zone, Tranquil Spring Waterfront Zone, Echoing Spring Experience Zone, Valley God Culture Exhibition Zone, Immersive Performance Zone, Cultural and Creative Activity Experience Zone, Outdoor Non-powered Entertainment Zone, and Agricultural Sightseeing and Picking Zone, collectively showcasing the geological and folk culture of the Jingpohu Lake area. The "one factory and one base" refer to the Japanese Puppet Power Plant and the Power Plant Red Education Base, which, along with sites like the Anti-Japanese Alliance Monument Garden, Jingpohu Lake Red Memory Hall, and Original Power Red Education Base, form a connected route, creating a unique red cultural tourism product for Jingpohu.
Shifu Park features unique geological landscapes with high aesthetic and educational value, serving as a cultural garden bridging history and modernity. Within the park lies a magnificent and ever-changing sea of volcanic rocks, alongside the ancient and timeless Shennong Valley. With quaint bridges over flowing streams and lush greenery everywhere, it is not only an educational hub showcasing the geological heritage of Jingpohu Lake but also an ideal destination for outdoor camping, waterside summer retreats, and vintage-style travel photography. In June 2025, China’s first "lunar-analog underground space" practice and education base, jointly developed by eight domestic universities and the Jingpohu Lake Management Committee, was established in Shifu Park. Through cutting-edge research, it supports China’s lunar exploration program and cultivates young talents in planetary science with global perspectives.
