Party Building Leads Joint Efforts, Environmental Renovation Brings a Fresh Look

—— Special Supervision and Support Campaign Launched at Jingpo Lake Scenic Area for 2026Together with Spring Comprehensive Environmental Improvement

To comprehensively improve the environmental sanitation quality of Jingpo Lake Scenic Area, solidly prepare for the tourism reception during the May Day Holiday, and lay a solid environmental foundation for the re-evaluation of the World Geopark, on April 8th, the Jingpo Lake Administrative Committee organized all Party members and cadres to hold the launching event for the first comprehensive environmental sanitation governance & special supervision and support service work in 2026. With a tough attitude of "Party branches take charge of designated areas, Party members take the lead, and all staff participate", the committee fired the first shot in the scenic area's environmental renovation campaign.

Prior to the event, the Office of Jingpo Lake Administrative Committee and Jingpo Lake Garden & Sanitation Center conducted on-site inspections in advance, defined responsibility zones, formulated cleaning standards, and coordinated the allocation of tools and garbage collection. The General Political Department of Jingpo Lake Administrative Committee gave full play to the leading role of Party building, carefully organized and planned the event, issued activity plans, established work ledgers, and clarified division of responsibilities. All Party branch secretaries attached great importance to the initiative, took the lead in responding, and ensured the efficient and orderly development of the activity.

At the event site, 12 Party branches—including the First through Fourth Branches of the Jingguanwei Administrative Committee’s organ, the Jingpo Lake Law Enforcement and Supervision Team Branch, and the Joint Branch of the Gate Area Service Center—responded promptly to the call and assembled swiftly, conducting centralized cleanup operations strictly within their designated responsibility zones. Party members and leading cadres wielded brooms, shovels, garbage grabbers, and other tools to focus on key areas, including the surroundings of office buildings, the stretch from the Intangible Cultural Heritage Studio to the Butterfly Pavilion, the shoreline of Shanzhuang Wharf, and both sides of the national highway north of the scenic area’s northern gate. They comprehensively removed winter-accumulated debris such as fallen leaves, dead branches, and white pollution from beneath forest canopies, while carrying out “carpet-style” concentrated rectification in weak spots—including sanitation blind zones, roadside ditches, and greenery separation belts. Over 120 Party members and leading cadres from the Jingguanwei Administrative Committee worked collaboratively with high enthusiasm. In addition, two local business entities—the Jingpo Lake Hotel and the Heilongjiang Provincial Federation of Trade Unions’ Workers’ Sanatorium—jointly participated in the cleanup effort. By the end of the day, a total of over 360 bags of assorted debris had been cleared and removed. The scene vividly reflected a strong atmosphere of unity between Party members and the public, pragmatic dedication, and collective efforts to promote high-quality development of the scenic area.

This campaign not only effectively improved the overall environmental hygiene of the scenic area but also strengthened the Party organization’s role as a bastion of combat effectiveness through joint efforts to tackle challenges, enhanced the capacity and competence of the management team, elevated the scenic area’s comprehensive management level, and further reinforced the team cohesion and collaborative synergy among staff and employees. Moving forward, the Jingpo Lake Management Committee will seize this campaign as an opportunity to coordinate and advance specialized “designated-responsibility” service work across all departments and units for 2026. It will conduct comprehensive inspections to identify potential hazards and issues concerning building safety, fire safety, environmental hygiene, and food safety among all business entities within the scenic area, and strive to establish a governance system integrating “intensive rectification” with “long-term maintenance.” Building upon continuous optimization of tourism-related environmental hygiene in the scenic area, it will further standardize business operations of enterprises within the scenic area, continuously enrich tourism offerings, enhance service quality, and consistently reinforce Jingpo Lake’s reputation as a premium tourism destination.
