The Administrative Committee of Jingpo Lake held a symposium with tourism enterprises to jointly plan a new chapter for the high-quality development of the scenic area.

On the afternoon of April 2, the Jingpo Lake Management Committee and representatives from multiple tourism enterprises in Mudanjiang City gathered for an in-depth cooperation and exchange symposium. Both government and business sectors engaged in candid discussions on the current development status, market challenges, and future direction of the scenic area, jointly devising strategies to inject new momentum into the high-quality development ofJingpo Lake tourism.

During the meeting, heads of various travel agencies actively shared their insights, drawing from frontline marketexperience and visitor feedback. They offered numerous practical and constructive suggestions in key areas such as optimizing ticketing policies, innovating tourism products, upgrading visitor services, and improving facility support.

In response to the issues raised by the enterprises, Li Xijun, Deputy Director of the Jingpo Lake Management Committee,pledged to promptly address and rectify all concerns, precisely addressing service "gaps" and resolving development "bottlenecks." He emphasized taking concrete actions to comprehensively enhance every visitor’s experience and satisfaction, ensuring that Jingpo Lake’s service quality matches its stunning natural scenery.  


At the symposium, Deputy Director Li Xijun outlined the future vision for Jingpo Lake tourism—focusing on three core industries: wellness tourism, study tourism, and the integration of culture, sports, and tourism—to drive the scenic area’s transformation from traditional sightseeing to immersive experiences and diversified vacations.

- Wellness Tourism**: Leveraging world-class ecological resources and hot spring advantages to create an eco-wellness

 destination combining lakeside retreats, forest therapy, and leisure stays.  

- Study Tourism**: Introducing premium courses under "three major themes," including volcanic geology, the history and culture of the Bohai Kingdom and Ningguta, and red heritage education. These programs will target youth study practices, establishing a benchmark study brand in Northeast China and beyond.  

- Integration of Culture, Sports, and Tourism**: Continuously organizing and hosting influential branded events andcultural activities to foster dynamic interactions between sports, natural landscapes, and historical heritage.  


Li Xijun also "teased" upcoming water-based recreational projects set for completion in 2026, providing a systematicintroduction to their features, experiential highlights, and market potential, which sparked strong interest among attending tourism enterprises.  


Additionally, the Jingpo Lake Management Committee unveiled its 2026 study tourism products and related preferential 

policies for tourism businesses. The new study offerings will emphasize knowledge, fun, and interactivity, while supporting policies will provide comprehensive support to travel agencies in pricing, services, and operational guarantees. The goal is to attract more study groups from within and outside the province to experience "learning through travel and traveling through learning" at Jingpo Lake.  


The symposium fostered a candid and pragmatic atmosphere, serving as both a "problem-exposing session" and a "development briefing." The Jingpo Lake Management Committee expressed its commitment to earnestly incorporating enterprise suggestions, accelerating rectification and implementation, and leveraging thethree core industries and new projects as engines for progress. By collaborating with tourism businesses, the committee aims to jointly transform Jingpo Lake into a more attractive and competitive tourism destination.
