On the morning of April 3, Li Dongjun, Director of the Jingpo Lake Scenic Area Administrative Committee, presided over a work promotion meeting for key tasks of the scenic area. The meeting conveyed the spirit of the city-wide work conference on production safety and social stability held on April 2, and studied and arranged key work of the scenic area for the current and next stages. Members of the leading group of the Administrative Committee and principals of relevant departments attended the meeting.

The meeting specially studied the relevant requirements of the Work Plan of Mudanjiang City on Consolidating Building Safety Inspections and Deepening the Investigation and Rectification of Potential Safety Risks in Existing Buildings. In light of the actual situation of the scenic area, it made arrangements for key work during the current period and the Qingming Festival holiday:

First, focus on key areas and fully investigate and rectify potential safety hazards. Close attention shall be paid to various buildings in the scenic area, including restaurants, hotels and institutional buildings, to carry out in-depth investigation and rectification of potential safety risks. We will adhere to rectification immediately upon inspection and discovery, so as to ensure closed-loop management throughout the entire process of hazard rectification and thorough elimination of hidden dangers.

Second, strengthen patrol and control to firmly hold the bottom line of safety. We will intensify daily patrol and law enforcement in the scenic area, and strictly strengthen the management and control of key links such as road traffic safety, construction safety of construction projects, lake surface safety during the spring thaw period, forest fire prevention and fire safety in business premises. We will fully maintain the safe and stable situation of the scenic area and effectively ensure the travel safety of tourists.

Third, deepen environmental improvement and continuously optimize the visiting environment of the scenic area. Focusing on weak links in environmental sanitation such as back streets and alleys, we will solidly promote the comprehensive improvement and upgrading of the scenic area environment, and strive to create a clean, orderly, comfortable and beautiful visiting environment.

The meeting required that all departments should effectively raise their political awareness, press and consolidate responsibilities of all parties, resolutely overcome paralyzing thinking, lax mentality and fluke psychology. With a strong sense of responsibility of "always feeling concerned and on guard", we will solidly and carefully carry out all key current work to fully safeguard the overall situation of safe, stable and sound development of the scenic area.
