The Jingkeyou No.436 cruise ship under the ownership of Bai Ming has been scrapped for 15 years and has remained abandoned and moored for a long time at the wharf of China Construction Bank Sanatorium in Jingpo Lake. The abandoned vessel not only occupies the water space of the lake area and damages the ecological landscape, but also brings about prominent problems such as water pollution and potential safety hazards.

Due to a contractual dispute over the ship’s property rights with Jingpo Lake Aquatic Farm, the vessel could not be disposed of for a long period of time, turning into a long-standing problem that has bothered and worried local residents for years.

To earnestly respond to public concerns and practice the work philosophy of law enforcement for the people, the Law Enforcement Brigade of Jingpo Lake Administration Committee took the initiative to act and fulfill its responsibilities, and steadily launched the special cleanup and disposal campaign for abandoned ships.

In the course of work, law enforcement officers patiently conducted policy publicity and ideological guidance, fully listened to the demands of the public, and proactively communicated and coordinated with Jingpo Lake Aquatic Farm. Through multi-party negotiation and consultation that balanced reason, emotion and legal principles, the long-standing contractual dispute was successfully resolved.

Meanwhile, the brigade efficiently pushed forward the dismantling, removal and on-site renovation of the abandoned ship, completely eliminating hidden dangers to water safety and ecological pollution. It has satisfactorily settled the long-standing unresolved problem of the masses, and effectively improved people’s sense of gain and satisfaction.
