To effectively safeguard tourists' water travel safety during the 2026 May Day holiday, on April 29, the Social Affairs Administration Bureau of Jingpohu Administrative Committee and the Boat Terminal Service Center, together with Jingpohu Maritime Department and other relevant departments, conducted a joint safety inspection for the maiden voyage of operational vessels in the Jingpohu waters to comprehensively screen potential safety hazards.
The joint inspection covered vessel navigation equipment, fire-fighting and life-saving facilities, vessel sanitation conditions, service supporting facilities and other aspects. Problems found were rectified on the spot immediately to ensure safe and orderly water transportation in the scenic area.

This joint comprehensive inspection has effectively eliminated potential safety hazards of operating vessels in the Jingpohu waters, further standardized vessel operation order, and improved the safety prevention capability of operating entities and practitioners. It has built a solid safety barrier for tourists’ water travel during the May Day holiday.
In the next step, all relevant departments will continue to strengthen water safety supervision during the holiday, enhance daily patrols and dynamic management and control, and improve the collaborative linkage mechanism. With strict standards and solid measures, they will protect tourists' lives and property safety, enabling visitors to tour at ease, travel safely in Jingpohu, and fully appreciate the unique charm of the lake and mountain scenery.
