To fully restore infrastructure damaged by floods and further diversify tourism consumption scenarios in Jingpo Lake, the Jingpo Lake Administration Committee is steadily pushing forward the post-disaster reconstruction project for the Ningxiang Bridge area of the scenic spot. With a total investment of over 5 million yuan, the project officially commenced construction on May 22 and is expected to be completed in mid-November.

The project mainly includes ecological restoration along the routes, repair of flood-damaged roads, renovation of wooden walkways and platforms, upgrading of tourist service stations, and renewal of supporting facilities and equipment in the Ningxiang Bridge area. For the Golden Wharf area, construction work covers the restoration of damaged wharves, recovery of landscape lighting and improvement of garden landscapes.

In recent years, frequent floods have caused severe damage to infrastructure across the scenic area, bringing great pressure on disaster prevention and mitigation and slowing down the improvement of tourist experience. Upon completion and operation, this reconstruction project will fully upgrade the functions of tourism infrastructure including roads, walkways, wharves and tourist service facilities. It will effectively preserve the original ecological landscape, enrich tourism consumption scenarios, and enhance the scenic area's capacity for disaster prevention, emergency support and tourist services.

Going forward, the Jingpo Lake Administration Committee will closely follow the construction schedule, strictly control project quality and enforce safety standards to ensure the project is finished on time. The committee will keep optimizing tourist experience and guaranteeing travel safety, providing solid support for the high-quality development of tourism in Jingpo Lake.
