After the Beginning of Autumn, the shores of Jingpo Lake shed the sweltering heat of midsummer as the breeze grew gentler. Adjacent to Jingpo Town, Stone Waterfall Park serves as a key educational and research hub within the Jingpo Lake UNESCO Global Geopark and marks the starting point of the U-shaped scenic corridor of Jingpo Lake Grand Canyon. Officially opened in 2024, the park spans 150,000 square meters.
Strolling through the park, visitors encounter an orderly layout of "ten zones, one factory, and one base," where volcanic platforms, dreamlike stone seas, tranquil springs, the Valley Deity cultural exhibition area, and fruit-picking experience zones seamlessly interconnect, offering a comprehensive display of volcanic geological wonders and local folk culture. Traversing the vast expanse of lava-formed stone fields, jagged cliffs stretch endlessly, showcasing landscapes sculpted by volcanic activity millions of years ago—a vivid testament to Earth’s eternal transformations.
Mountains and rivers bear cultural heritage; revolutionary legacy enriches the land. The park has established a red education base, linking the Anti-Japanese Monument Garden and the Jingpo Lake Red Memory Museum into a thematic route. Visitors can admire the scenery while reflecting on wartime history. Clear springs wind through rocks, lush forests grace every step, creating a serene and picturesque landscape.
