On August 5th, UNESCO Global Geopark evaluation expert Alessandra Casini arrived at JingpohuLake Global Geopark for a three-day re-evaluation inspection. That evening, a simple yet warm welcome banquet was held at JingpohuLake. Attendees included He Qingcheng, Deputy Director of the Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences, Executive Director of the National Geopark Network Center, Director of the Global Geopark Network Office, and Asia-Pacific Global Geopark Network Coordinator; Zhao Zhizhong, Deputy Director of the National Geopark Network Center; Gao Lei, Deputy Director of the Geological Environment Division of the Provincial Department of Land and Resources; Du Jijun, Vice Mayor of Mudanjiang City and Director of the JingpohuLake Global Geopark Management Committee; Cheng Peng, Deputy Secretary-General of the Municipal Government; Sun Dezhi, Executive Director of JingpohuLake Global Geopark; geological experts Li Jiangfeng and Su Dechen; partner Guo Benzheng, Chairman of JingpohuLake Tourism Group; and Liang Chen, Director of the Heilongjiang Provincial Hydrogeology and Engineering Geology Survey Institute.
