The Jingpo Lake Management Committee Holds a Seminar on the Red Culture of Anti-Japanese Allied Forces Relics

On July 10, 2019, the Jingpohu Lake Anti-Japanese Allied Forces Relics Red Culture Seminar was held at Jingpohu. Eighty-eight experts and scholars from 37 universities and research institutions across the country engaged in a one-day discussion on the red culture of the Anti-Japanese Allied Forces relics at Jingpohu. Li Hongguang, Deputy Director of the China Anti-Japanese Allied Forces Research Center; Ye An, Director of the Bayi Spirit Research Center at Jiangxi Science and Technology Normal University; Ren Xueling from the Key Research Base of Humanities and Social Sciences of the Ministry of Education at Yan'an University; and Li Xiaowu, Party Branch Secretary of the School of Marxism at Pingdingshan University, summarized the experiences of developing and protecting red heritage sites in Jiangxi, Yan'an, and the Central Plains regions, respectively. They also provided suggestions and perspectives on the development of red tourism at Jingpohu Lake based on regional conditions. This seminar provided theoretical support for the study of the red culture of the Anti-Japanese Allied Forces relics at Jingpohu. By promoting the Anti-Japanese Allied Forces culture of Jingpohu Lake and deeply exploring its red cultural significance, the event aimed to integrate red tourism with sightseeing, cultural tourism, leisure vacation tourism, and other travel products. This will create diverse, composite tourism products and routes centered on red tourism, enhancing the appeal and competitiveness of Jingpohu Lake Scenic Area and elevating its development to a new level.
