To ensure the high-quality completion of the compilation work for the Jingpohu Lake Water Area Vessel Carrying Capacity Assessment Report, multiple consultations were conducted with higher authorities such as the Municipal Transportation Bureau, the Provincial Water Transport Center, and the National Ministry of Transportation Water Transport Center regarding vessel capacity assessment requirements and considerations. Active efforts were made to carry out the vessel carrying capacity assessment in the Jingpohu Lake water area. Comprehensive data and information materials on vessel management in the Jingpohu Lake water area were collected. Through organizing field surveys and compilation research meetings, extensive opinions were gathered, and scientific research and verification were conducted to form the compilation outline. The entire process involved tracking and guiding the compilation unit in conducting the assessment work. Two reporting sessions on the compilation results were held with the compilation unit, and meticulous organization was carried out for the review and proofreading of the compilation. Modifications were solicited three times from relevant departments of the Jingpohu Lake Management Committee and various stakeholders in the scenic area. The high-quality completion of the Jingpohu Lake Vessel Carrying Capacity Assessment Report has clarified the direction for future vessel development in the Jingpohu Lake water area and provided a quantitative and qualitative basis for vessel capacity expansion.
