





The Shennongjia Global Geopark in Hubei, China, is a comprehensive geopark featuring typical tectonic landform ecosystems. Located in the southwestern part of Shennongjia Forestry District in Hubei Province, the geopark covers a total area of 1,022.72 square kilometers and consists of five zones: Shennongding, Guanmenshan, Tianyan, Dajiuhu, and Laojunshan. The Shennongding zone showcases magnificent mountain landforms and typical geological profiles; the Guanmenshan zone is renowned for its unique geological museum and rich canyon landform landscapes; the Tianyan zone primarily features gorge and karst landform development; the Dajiuhu zone is characterized by glacial landforms and alpine meadows; and the Laojunshan zone exhibits fault structures and water landscapes. The geological relics include Late Precambrian strata, mountain landforms, canyon landforms, karst landforms, alpine meadows, glacial landforms, dome structures, fault structures, and water landscapes. The majestic and spectacular mountain landforms, diverse tectonic, glacial, aquatic, and karst features, along with the unique ecological environment and rich biodiversity, form a natural geological museum, representing a perfect fusion of geology, ecology, and ancient culture.
